Coaching Applications now being accepted for 2018 Season
Cambridge Minor Lacrosse is looking for Boys Box and Field lacrosse coaches who have a passion for lacrosse, sport, fitness, and health, and working with children aged 4-18 years for the upcoming 2018 season. 

Anyone interested in applying for a coaching position with Cambridge Minor Lacrosse Association is to submit a completed coach’s application, which can be found on our website under forms and policies tab. Interviews will be scheduled for qualified applicants, whose applications are received by Jan 1st 2018.  

If you are interested in applying for a Travel Coach position, please email the coaches application form to [email protected]  

Interviews will be scheduled for qualified applicants, whose applications are received by Jan 1st 2018.  Head Coach and Assistant Coaches of each team must be fully certified under the OLA coaching requirements found on the OLA website. Certification/Re-certification will be paid for by CMLA if required. Trainers of each team must have their First Aid or related certification.
A list of possible Assistant Coaches and Trainers will be requested at your interview for consideration by CMLA.

We will be working with the OLA to provide workshops and OLA coaches evaluations in house, to build on our coaches capabilities.     

**Please note that we do require a Police Check to be completed by all bench staff including Trainers and Managers.The CMLA Selection Committee will be chaired by the Travel Director and will have the Coach of Player Development, and 2 non CMLA evaluators participating in this years selection process.  The focus of the Selection Committee is to interview each candidate and then recommend the best candidate for each representative team to the Board of Directors for approval.   It is the goal of the Selection Committee to make an informed recommendation without bias to the Board.  

All candidates that apply for a representative team will receive an interview and all candidates will be contacted whether successful or otherwise.

We are excited to share that Cambridge minor Lacrosse has been selected by @CTJumpstart to receive a grant from their Sports Releif Fund. The funds helps community sports organizations like ours continue to provide access to sport and play for Canadian kids. This grant will go a long way.
