CMLA is pleased to announce that Troy Cordingley from Hardcor Lacrosse is going to lead our Paperweight program in 2020.  Troy brings a tremendous amount of lacrosse knowledge to our program.  We are truly fortunate to be partnered with a true leader and teacher of the game of lacrosse.

Troy Cordingley, who spent the majority of his adult life in professional lacrosse brings along a wealth of knowledge and experience. He previously was a top NLL player, an assistant coach with the Buffalo Bandits, Head Coach of the Calgary Roughnecks and served as the Head Coach of the Toronto Rock from 2010 – 2013.

Coach Cordingley was the bench boss for the Buffalo Bandits organization which set a franchise record for wins and won first east division championship since 2011.  Troy Cordingley has subsequently moved into an Assistant General Manager position with the club.

Coach Cordingley, who was drafted by the Buffalo Bandits in the 1993 NLL Entry Draft, played with the Bandits for most of his playing career from 1993 to 1999 followed by two seasons with the Albany Attack in 2000 and 2001. He won two NLL championships as a player with Buffalo in 1993 and 1996.

Named NLL Head Coach of the Year in 2009 and 2013 and a finalist in the 2015/2016 season, Coach Cordingley led the Roughnecks to a league-best 12-4 regular season record and finished the top overall seed in the 2009 NLL Playoffs. In addition, he led the team to the 2009 NLL Champions Cup victory over the New York Titans, 12-10. A feat he repeated two seasons later with The Toronto Rock.
