Paperweights participate in their first tournament!
The weekend of June 13th and 14th was an exciting one for the Paperweight Select team, who participated in their first tournament of 2015! For many of our young players, this was their first
ever game/tournament scenario, so congratulations on this huge milestone!
The day began bright and early on Saturday, June 13th with our players on the floor to warm up at 8am. We faced two fierce competitors, but the kids fought strong and hard. Their faces were lit with joy to see all of their supporters cheering them on from the stands.
Sunday brought another full day, with 3 more challengers to face. The kids demonstrated unbelievable resilience and determination, battling their way right through to the end. They persisted in the face of adversity, and gave everything they had until the final buzzer. Kudos to these young players for their unyielding efforts and for demonstrating true Chiefs spirit!
Special recognition goes out Kadyn Haupert for her all star goal tending, and Mason Hyland for exceptional scoring! Way to go :)
