The Tyke 2 kids did an awesome job serving up a hot and delicious pancake breakfast for 60+ patrons on Saturday, July 23rd.
Saturday, July 23rd started out bright and early with the team full of energy and ready to serve at 8:00am at Applebee's Cambridge.
With a little bit of direction from parents and coaches, the kids were responsible for seating, servicing and bussing tables for over 60 diners. Coffee, tea, juices, pancakes and bacon were on the menu and the kids were really loving their new roles! There was a lot of excitement and some great team work happening; the kids really worked hard together to make sure that every table was serviced and cleaned up after the meal.
A huge thank you goes out to Applebee's of Cambridge for making this event a possibility and to all of the parents who put in the time and effort to sell tickets, bring the kids out to the event and help with the service! It was a valuable experience for the kids and it would not have been possible without your dedication, so THANK YOU!!
