Novice 2 win Silver at Niagara on the Lake Tournament
Congratulations to our Novice 2 for a great weekend at the Niagara on the Lake Tournament over the weekend!
The tournament kicked off Friday with an evenly matched game against Welland.
Welland, who was the home team in this game, opened the scoring at 12:31 of the first period. Our Chefs rallied together and pulled two goals in the second period allowing our chiefs to take the game with a 2-1 win!
On Saturday not only did our Novice 2 Chiefs come together but so did our Novice 3 Chiefs as we went head to head in the second game of the tournament! Both Teams played with heart and integrity really showing all the other teams what Cambridge is made of!!
Sunday Our Players came on the floor with fire in their hearts and an eagerness to take the tournament all the way to end! Despite "playing up" against a higher ranked team, they met the tough competition head-on and gave the NOTL team a run for their money! Our chiefs came together not only as a team but a family!
I know we are all so proud of our Chiefs! Congrats on the Silver!!!
