TYKE ZONE 8 PLAYOFFS
Congratulations to the Tyke1 team today on their win as ZONE 8 "B" Champions! The first game on Saturday morning we met the Guelph2 team. We realized that they were a force to be reckoned with with a 3-3 tie.
Next it was Arthur at 1:30pm and we were unstoppable with a 7-3 win. The first game today saw a win against Brantford sending us into the Semi-finals against Arthur once again. That win allowed us to move on to the finals against Owen Sound. We have played them in the past never being able to defeat them. I have to say it was a nail bitter with a 5-5 score. This meant we were going into sudden death overtime. With only seconds left, Ivan Deeb scores the winning goal for the team and we are the Tyke Zone8 "B" Champions. Congratulations to the team, you worked very hard for this. The coaches, parents and everyone are very proud of you.
