OLA Announces Further Delay of Season
To our CMLA Family,
On behalf of everyone on the Cambridge Minor Lacrosse Association Board, we first hope and wish you and your family is safe and practicing social distancing during this COVID-19 pandemic. We are receiving many inquiries about the upcoming season and when decisions will be finalized. The answer is we are taking our direction from The City of Cambridge and our governing body, the Ontario Lacrosse Association.  As you may have heard, the OLA announced earlier this week that all in-person lacrosse activities are cancelled until a minimum of May 15th 2020.

We will be updating our website and social media platforms as we get new details from the City, Zone and OLA and then will take the appropriate actions as things evolve. Our intention is that we will have a season and be able to get on the floor for our favorite summer sport, but only if we are sure its safe.

Please stay tuned and bare with us as we navigate through this.  Lets remain positive that we will be able to salvage the 2020 season.

On a lighter note - to help pass the time while practicing social distancing and keeping your child active, encourage your children to play wall ball or work on their stick skills at home.  To help make things a fun, take some video and pictures and share them with our Social Media Director Jason Gillespie so that he can post them on our social channels.

Thanks for your patience as we work through these challenges during this unprecedented time.

Stay safe, we're hoping to see everyone at the arena soon!
