BINGO INFO
Welcome to the 2024 season of the Cambridge Highlanders. The members of the board have been working hard to
keep the rising costs of lacrosse at a minimum and one of the key factors for being able to do this is through our
partnership with the Cambridge Bingo & Gaming Centre.
The funds we raised through our volunteering sessions has kept our fees to a minimal increase year after year. We
have been able to offer winter programming at almost no cost and purchase replacements for outdated and
broken equipment such as shot clocks. We are working on replacing jerseys without a cost to the player and
families.
Up to now, we have relied heavily on the board members to attend all the bingo sessions, but we need help from
our members to keep this important fundraising going.
For the 2024 season, each team is required to have representation at three sessions throughout the year. This
year, all the sessions run from 6pm-8pm on Sundays. Volunteers must complete a quick online training video and
once complete, choose and attend a night that works best for them. They will be paired with a fully trained
individual for their in-person session. A dress code is in effect when attending the sessions - dark pants (no jeans),
a collared shirt and no hats.
