ABOUT CMLA (Cambridge Minor Lacrosse)

The Cambridge Minor Lacrosse Association is a not for profit organization run by volunteers, with the common goal of promoting a positive, encouraging and safe environment for local youth to enjoy sport through team play. Our organization was founded in 2002 and is entering its 2nd decade of promoting Canada’s National Summer sport.

Commonly referred to as the fastest sport on two feet, lacrosse has enjoyed great growth in Canada and beyond.  We are governed by the Ontario Lacrosse Association which hosts the largest annual youth sport event in Canada and the largest youth Lacrosse event in all of North America. We are also affiliated with the Canadian Lacrosse Association.

These governing bodies help to support fair play and guidance that filters down to the playing surfaces here in Cambridge.

THE C.M.L.A Mission Statement:

Cambridge Minor Lacrosse Association will provide learning and a mentoring program in which children will benefit with team environment, fair play, leadership skills, physical fitness and most of all, fun. Our intent is to provide the future leaders of our community an experience that will enrich their lives.
