OLA Return to Play
Submitted By reno on Sunday, July 19, 2020
The OLA announced two weeks ago their intent to introduce their Return to Play Phase 1 & 2 protocol.  Zone 8 Clubs have met to discuss this as have your Cambridge Minor Lacrosse Board of Directors.  It has been decided at this time that  CMLA will not be participating in the OLA Return to Play.
We have been informed that both Centre Wellington and Guelph are looking at running a 6 week Return to Play program.  As this will not be an official 'season' as we know it, any player wishing to participate is able to do so, no release will be necessary.  If you are interested in either program please visit their Club website for information.

A number of private clubs and stand alone lacrosse clubs are also opening their doors for practices, skills and drills and similar Return to Play programs.  If your player is interested we encourage them to keep their stick in hand and check out some of the programming offered in our surrounding areas (Hardcor in Brampton and Mississauga, RedBlacks in Rockwood, Spartan in KW).
Thank you all for your patience and understanding as we have moved through this unprecedented season.  We hope that you have all managed to stay safe and healthy.
We look forward to a bigger and better Lacrosse season in 2021!
