Team Sean Cooper
Hello everyone!
With registration opening up and our pre-tryout sessions just around the corner, we are excited to welcome you all back into the Highlander fold. However, this message is to bring you some information about one of our own from the 2022 season.
Late in 2022, our very own Sean Cooper (U-15) was admitted to hospital for surgery when it was discovered that he had brain cancer. Sean is now beginning a journey through ~6 months of chemotherapy and radiation, and has already received a blood transfusion.

As a true reflection of his kindness and resilience, Sean wants to help all the other kids at the hospital needing transfusions. He is hoping that his Highlander teammates and community will be able to assist him in his mission! Starting on February 21st, 2023, there will be a blood drive in Sean’s name to help support him and other patients in need at the hospital. Following that date, any donations made from registered accounts across Canada can be made through ‘Team Sean Cooper’ to support his efforts. We would also appreciate if you could continue to spread the word throughout your other communities! Please reach out to us if you are interested in more information.

How to join Team Sean Cooper will  be posted on our social media!!!
